On July 30, the first independent R&D megavolt transformer bushing produced by Nanjing Electric (Group) Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Electric Transformer Bushing Co., Ltd. in the new factory has been installed at Linyi, Shandong Province. This is the first engineering use、hanging network UHV transformer bushing in the history of Nanjing Electric. The successful installation symbolized the transformer bushing products of Nanjing Electric step into a new level and made great contributions to localization of national transformer bushing.
Respond to the call To be indomitable
Over the years, the UHV transformer bushing our country used mostly bought from foreign company. According to the spirit of the National Energy Board, in recent years, SGCC has advocated the localization of UHV transformer bushing. For this reason, promote the production of UHV bushing, the use of localization has become the primary goal of domestic manufacturers. As a veteran leader in the high-voltage transformer bushing industry, our company has been actively responding to the national call and vigorously promoting the localization of UHV casing in China. We have worked hard to study hard to overcome difficulties and indomitable. In 2006, our company independently completed the first megavolt UHV AC transformer bushing. In recent ten years, the company keeps making progress, based on existed achievements and continuing to deepen into innovations and products. After the efforts of the majority of scientific and technological personnel and the entire factory staff, finally in January 2016, we completed the latest 1000 kV UHV AC transformer bushing stereotype products, and the Chinese Electric Power Research Institute completed third-party type test witness, all the results meet the relevant countries and industries standards, technical specifications, the relevant achievements have passed the new product technology appraisal, met the engineering trial conditions. At this juncture, Baobian Electric submitted an application for trial use of Nanjing Electric Casing in its project on December 14, 2016. On December 21, 2016, senior experts from State Grid Exchange Department, China Electric Power Research Institute and Baobian Electric carefully reviewed the field production and experimental conditions of Nanjing EHV Bushing, and formed an expert review opinion that confirmed that Nanjing Electric UHV AC bushings basically meet the requirements of engineering trial, then they made sure that they would take into account the project situation, in Linyi substation construction of UHV shunt reactors, they would use a trial phase of a Nanjing Electric UHV AC sets, which marks the company's UHV bushing products have been recognized, our UHV bushing product localization is in the forefront of the industry.
Highly valued March to the scene
On July 25, 2017, leaders of transformer bushing company led the team of technical experts and went to the construction field of Linyi substation, decided to participate in the disassembly debugging, installation and operation work which would held on 26th and 27th, experts would make sure the success of installation.
July 26 morning, the team arrived at the substation, our experts and principals first did the disassembly debugging. Under the guide of experts, we finished all the relevant work successfully.
Due to the bad weather, the installation work had to delay. In this situation, our technical personnel kept staying at the field and focusing on the installation progress. July 30th, the weather turned well, we finished all the work. This is the first megavolt transformer bushing in our company history, which marked our products have entered the new field and guide us to the new direction in the future.
During the installation process, the hard work our personnel did have got the praise from the customers. We believe that through the together work, we will definitely step on a higher level.

The operation of our first transformer bushing which installed in Shandong showed our determination on the localization of UHV transformer bushing. Since long time ago, the domestic UHV transformer bushing markets have been controlled by abroad company. How to change this situation? Let domestic company go out to compete in the worldwide market is a big problem which need all the domestic manufacturers think about.
This successful installation is a milestone in the history of localization of the transformer bushing. We have to seize the chance, work hard and make progress continuously.
